Our Mission is to strengthen the business environment for Nevada Retailers and Associates by providing a government relationship program which supports retail industry needs through effective lobbying at federal, state and local levels.

At RAN we make it our business to support and protect your business. From monitoring local, county, state and some federal issues RAN is there to inform you on the events that can have a real impact to your business.
The 2009 Legislative Session is now over but the target on the back of business can hardly be taken off. With over a billion dollar tax increase, all of it on business, the Nevada business community has no time to relax. The 2011 Session is already being rumored, by Legislators and Union Opponents, as the session a Gross Receipts Tax will finally be created.
Now is the time for action. The Retail Association will be involved with supporting incumbents who are friendly to business, identifying new candidates who share the views of the Retail Association and fighting any number of initiatives aimed at taxing business.
RAN continues to gear up for the issues that are likely to present themselves in the 2010 Election Cycle. Taxes, the price of gas, and the continuation of the downward economy are likely to be the hot topics when the electorate votes. If you have any issues you would like to discuss please call us.
